Come and join me for a photo walk
The programme has just been released for Dartmoor Outdoor Festival, running between the 29th August and 5th September.
The festival has run since 2016, but is having a revamp for 2025, with many more events and activities taking place.
I’m pleased to share that one of those activities is an accessible photo walk that I will be leading with festival organiser Hannah Durdin. The walk is aimed at beginner photographers, those who want to have a go for the first time, or those who want to learn some tips to help them improve their first steps on their journey into photography as a hobby.
The walk is taking place on the 1st September, and is aimed to take in a lovely sunset (let’s be optimistic) from Bellever Tor. We’ll spend 3 hours, starting with introducing you to some tips to help improve your compositions, then start our walk along the riverside, through Bellever Forest, aiming for the tor. The route is accessible and easily traversed.
You don’t need any special equipment, bring whatever camera you have available.
The walk has limited spaces to keep a small group, and it costs £25 per person. Further details, and booking are available on the festival website here.
I look forward to meeting you and going on a wander together.
